Subject: more CS series problems

I had a client bring by his CS50 this week.. just dug into it this
afternoon.

this was a fully functional unit until he decided to spray all the
trim pots because he read on the internet that it was a good idea to
do so.. he left the synth on while he did this... guh

I am not too sure what he was spraying the pots with (WD40 perhaps)
but i do know he managed to fry something on almost every board in the
synth!

i finally got sound out of the synth after i replaced the clock on the
key assign board.. then I went thru the functions.. it seemed somewhat
functional other then stuff here and there. 1st thing was the Sub
Osc.. it was putting out DC.. swapped the 00151 with the Osc chip from
the PWM section and voila.. the sub OSC worked again... bad news bad
IG00151... next I went on to the M boards.. 1 is putting out nothing
but noise.. 3 dont have any noise at all, one puts out DC when you
adjust the filter level slider.. only one sine out works one of the
cards and one cards saw/square switches are inverted and thump DC when
you switch them.

gah... some people shouldnt attempt to fix things themselves.

this isnt going to be an inexpensive repair IF we can get the parts.
