As you know David I very nearly got to lend Emo one of my CS-80's.
Had it been so, I would definately have had something to report.
Unfortunately he decided to go with the GX-1 samples. He only told me
last week - I hurried him up as I had offers of other work and was
keeping last weekend and the start of this week free for him. So I
didn't get the gig.... having said all that a good friend of mine, a
camera man actually, worked hard on the night (and all the studio
rehearsals up to it) shooting the footage for Harvey Goldstein. When
or if that footage will ever surface is another question.
Anyway from the reports I have heard the sound was a bit lacking and
apparently Emo's keys could not be heard early on. (Maybe they should
have had me mixing as I was free of my CS-80 duties...) Oh well, they
live and learn.
