Tommy, Laurie, David and all guys....
Yes, love hurts, you can tell it if you look at me, still unable to have my hands on a proper Yamaha Combo from a long time ( the last thing I put my hands on about a CS was a power supply! ) but still in love with these machines. I believe I know the CS80 like a good surgeon knows the human body and, btw it should be not ∗this∗ hard to get the same experience on software, you just have to make it by paying respect to its original structure which isn't more complex than other polysynths of its time, nothing more... :-)

Laurie and Jesus, and Max too,
If they made Valentine's cards for CS-80s, you guys would definitely be sending them. I love 'hearing' the passion in your e-mails. I only wish Yamaha would feel this passion too and find a way to preserve these beloved, unique creations.

"Lindsay" at Edmonton Audio Works does Excellent work on them......but
that again would be North of the Border in Edmonton Alberta.....It would
be wise to get a time slot booked with him as he also services Hammond
organs and other older Electronics.....I would Easily make a 14 hour
journey from where I am to get mine looked at......
BTW......A CS80 prevents grey hairs as it is the synth that becomes a
natural extention of a musician....If you can think it, you both can
play it ....from a programmers side it is limited.....from a musicians
side, it is infinite........
