Subject: Re: [PolySix] Re: Where to start on calibration?

Hey, I don't really know anything about electronics but what you've said sounds just like what is wrong with my Polysix. Every 6th note buzzes and the whole thing sounds discordant and daleky. Since I don't really know much at all do you think I should try and tune it etc. by myself? A friend opened it up and fixed some things for me once so I know some things about it's insides.
Thanks

If you are hearing 6 different notes then your synth voices are
definately out of tune. There is a good link on the web about how
to tune it - usually best with a chromatic tuner and throw the synth
into test mode so you get a flat wave to tune to. It is a pain in
the ass to tune it properly but I threw mine completely out of whack
and actually made it better than when I bought it! Good luck.
