hmmm....thanks for the prompt reply ben...it's nice to see that this

i seem to have offended you with my choice of words, so let me
apologize for that. i'll try to describe this 3rd manual (i DO have
the service manual and the owners manual) that was included with my
polysix that i'm trying to locate.
it was about a 12 page document. the only thing this paper listed
was how to set each knob to produce a certain sound. for example, if
you wanted a flute, set all the knobs to look like this, and
allakhazam! a flute sound is produced.
this manual went on to list strings, bass, wind instruments, spacey
sounds, etc. It also was the settings for the factory defaults
included my the (now missing) tape. (and i think that the tape was
also labeled "patch tape" So, in theory, i could sit there and
twist the knobs to try to find some sound that i am looking for, but
i was hoping to bypass the trial and error phase, and get some
assitance from someone who may have this "patch manual" that went
with the "patch tape"
