Polysix has one vco for each voice. Up so six voices can be played at
a time. Each voice will have the same tibre as they are using the same
envelope, vco settings, etc.
The monopoly can do something similar but all four vco's share a
single filter. So its not " true " polyphony from the traditional sense.
Both can do unison, unison is the monopoly's strength as you have
control over each vco in the unison mix. You can use 2, 3 or 4 , use a
different waveform for each oen or the same for all of them. You can
detune them by hand or tune them the same and use the detune knob.
Also, the mono can be actuated by a external cv/midi controller making
it easier to intergrate into your studio. The mono has sync, which the
poly doesnt have and cross modulation. Its a very gritty synth, if you
like the poly you would love the mono.
