I repaired the KLM367 on my Poly Six, but decided to replace it anyway,
as there were lots of wires soldered on the bottom to replace the eaten traces.
Also, I was concerned about more damage in the future from corrosion under ICs
that I may have missed. So I bought one of the replacement pc bds for around
$20 and moved the hard to find parts to it. I put sockets on all of the chips and
replaced the electrolytic caps at the same time. It does take a lot of time to
do the work, but not so much money and you won't have to worry about battery
leak damage ever again.
