Subject: Re: [PolySix] Re: P6 w/ kiwisix - sync midi to external clock

Yes, I read the manual several times and setting midi clock to D7+Tone 1 (solid LED) means that it will sync to internal/external device.  That seems like the correct parameter to use.  Thank you for posting the kiwisix mailing list link- I will join that and see if there's something wrong with my synth or perhaps a firmware update is needed, etc.

Thanks for replying!  Yes I made sure Midi out was enabled for both track and sync in Ableton.  I'm not sure what setting the P6 needs to be set to in its midi parameters.  I'm assuming midi sync internal/external needs to be turned on but I'm not sure what else (if anything else).
KiwiSix-manual Page 10:
Shift ON
Bank D
Programm 7
Adjust with the FX rate knob.
If Program 4 LED is lit, then the MIDI clock will sync with 16th notes.

I don't own a kiwisix, but I can read manuals.....

Another thing concerning with the P6 is that whenever I use the arpeggiator, after about 10 minutes of use, it starts cycling through tones almost like it is changing tone presets after about 10 seconds and moving to the next tone.  Then, when I turn off the arpeggiator, and hold down a chord on the keys, the notes will ring out like they should and then fade off and back on as if I pressed the keys again.  Strange!
I think you should ask this on the Kiwitechnics Maillist.
