Not sure how this fits in the situation we're discussing since we're talking about the polysix arp itself, even with no midi installed on the machine, having a hiccup before it begins it's decent from the top. In UP/DOWN arp mode, with a long and wide arpeggiation happening, once it reaches the top there is a slight pause before triggering the 1st note of the downward half. And if i recall correctly it's a repeat pitch of the final note of the upward half. So you hear two of the same note back to back but with an awkward delay. It was completely repeatable on my polysix. And bob is saying he may have noticed it too. The only midi i'd mentioned was just the same thing as holding down a physical key, or several keys, for a long time.

Re: Arp timing hiccup.

One thing you need to keep in mind if you are using MIDI, is that some (many?) old synths will not retrigger the same note again if the length of time is too small. I discovered this the hard way. So if the end notes are repeated, you still might need 10ms time between notes in order for them to register over the early MIDI synths.
