Search the group with the word clone or KLM367...you will find your answers

I purchased a clone board a few years ago and built it.  The build went very smoothly; I have done quite a bit of synth DIY and I didn't have any problems with it.  I never got around to putting the board back in the synth and it has sat unfinished since January of 2011.  Today I buttoned it all back up and fired it up.  As you would expect, it just made some strange noises and the LEDs went haywire.  I attempted the calibration procedure (The only one I know of is the one from the service manual which I found on Old Crow's website).  The power board checks out fine.  When I put the resistor across the 2P connector on KLM-376 and start turning VR1 on the clone board, nothing happens.  I can turn it 50 times and still nothing changes on the lights.

When I power it up cold, the LEDs seem to behave normally for about 20 seconds before going completely epileptic.

Is it appropriate to ask here for help in troubleshooting this and tracking down the problem?  If not, please direct me to a more appropriate venue for this.  Is there a different calibration procedure for the clone board that I'm not aware of?

Any and all help is welcomed and appreciated.   Thanks in advance for replies.
