I've finished the rework needed to turn the KLM-367 into a PIC-based
board. Using a PIC16F877 and a PIC16F628, It will be able to process MIDI
input to play notes, do sysex patch dumps, record knob movements, etc.
Gone is a battery of any kind; now a serial flash EEROM is used to store
128 patches. Also worked in are two more S/H circuits off the previously
unused "15th & 16th" control voltage channels to facilitate MIDI
mod-and-pitch wheels.
And it all still fits in the form factor of the old KLM-367.
