Oh, and that picture you are looking at is a PC Board layout diagram, not a schematic diagram. If you look at the real schematic, you can see that CN03 pin 7 is connected IC9 pin 7. It is up near the top right corner of the schematic.

That point on the left is not an endpoint. It is a “via” that goes through the board to the other side, goes up and to the left a bit, and comes back through a via to the top hole of the three holes just to the left of where your point is. It then travels up under the battery, under IC25 and under IC23, through another via, then over near the Normal/Test switch where it comes back through another via and then heads up between the six trim pots and eventually ends up at pin 7 of IC9. This is the Resonance control voltage circuit. Hold the board up to a bright light so you can see the traces on both sides of the board.

Subject: [PolySix] Traces Under C40 Question

Hi everyone,

I'm currently repairing my second Korg Polysix and have discovered some possible trace damage under C40.  Those who change the battery for a coin cell know that C40 is often removed.  Under C40 there are three tiny traces.  I attached a link to a schematic photo.  You'll see the red line underlining the trace I'm looking at. You'll also see the end point, but that's where I'm not sure about.  Is that really the end?  I tested for continuity from the start point to both the connector and another point further along.  I get no audible beeps.  Either that trace is completely dead, OR I'm not getting the correct end point for testing.  Would anyone happen to know either what that trace is for or where the exact endpoint is?  The schematics seem to indicate pin 7 of connector CN03.  Thanks!  -  Jim
