Subject: Re: [PolySix] My Polysix is acting very weird...Please HELP!

Hi,

I think its safe to say that most PolySix problems are
Related to battery damage on the Klm367 board.
I would focus on the signals from that bd used to read
The octave switch, at least for the second issue you
Mentioned with settings differing in the 16 foot mode.
An issue with only the low twelve notes seems to
Point to the key assigner and related circuits. But
Some problems can have strange symptoms that
Can be misleading.

There are many good technicians who specialize in
Synth repair. Maybe there is one near you...

Bob

My P6 has been working fine until tonight. Whenever I put the Polysix to octave 16' and play the last octave on the keyboard there is no sound, just a little click. This also happens on various other keys on octave 16'. Also for some reason whenever i'm in octave 16' some keys play different sounds (a change in PW). This doesn't happen when i'm using octave 8', and octave 4'. Also I can hear notes on octave 8' all across the keyboard when the pitch bend is all the way down with it's intensity all the way up. Does anyone know what can be the problem? Is there a fix to this....Is there such thing as a 'Synth Technician' that can fix it IF something is definitely wrong?
