Phil,
I was not clear before. When in the DAC calibration mode, if
you turn the cutoff, does one of the lit LED's move? (Not VR6 and VR7)
If so, that would tend to imply that the front panel reading of the cutoff
pot is OK. It's true that the corrosion can travel up that black wire.
I replaced the wire on mine with another thick one. 16 gauge, I think.
Also, if you are able to reload patches from cassette (or computer
audio port) and the EG and filter are still not working when you change
patches, that will indicate that it's from the CPU to the outputs, and
not the front panel reading.

Hi,
Most probably IC1 on KLM-370 (the 4051 analog mux) is dead. I had this
before; the leaked battery acid crawls along the thick black ground wire
up to KLM-370 and continues its destructive work there. Replace that
black wire as well.
