Hello there!
I'd like to integrate my polysix more with my eurorack modular synthesizer (e.g. polyphonic fm patches etc).
I am not really interested in modding the MG, since I have more versatile means to create modulations with that modular. Polyphonic patches with the modular are usually a huge pain and I'd rather see the polysix taken care of in my creative sound design endeavors than catching dust somewhere in the corner.
Controlling the filters globally with cv filter mod in is no problem, of course, and I get some interesting fm-ish sounds out of it. However, I'd like to modulate the VCOs as well. I have seen a post somewhere that mentions one can override the MG -> VCO by rerouting the modwheel (MG wheel) input to some external in. Is that true? How would you go about converting the voltages from my (+/- 12V) modular levels to the polysix ones? Buffering?
Has anyone tried to get modulation input for each filter or osc individually? I guess that'd be quite nice coupled with some quadrature LFOs.
How would you go about such a task?
