Hey, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this board for helping out with resurrecting my PolySix. It's been almost a year since I picked it up for $300 thinking "man, the battery damage doesn't look TOO bad..."
Well, it's finally working. Here's my first jam after getting it all hooked into my setup.
https://soundcloud.com/traxus12/polysix-707I had a good experience trying (and failing) to repair it myself but I finally bit the bullet and just had the KiwiSix upgrade installed by Ed Miller at Synthesizer Repair in Hollywood (on a suggestion from someone here). He did a great job for a very fair price. This past month it seems like all I've been doing is fixing things but I'm finally getting back into making sounds and it feels good.
