If you haven't seen the small hack I did so as not to have to unsolder and re-solder the large GND cable to KLM-367 while troubleshooting, the album is here.

I added some mechanical foundation with dabs of epoxy glue and also extended the GND cable. For the connector, I use two pins from a jumper of a motherboard. Also, I found that the jumper cap in blue, provides more grip onto the pins if used upside-down. I tried to solder the extension lead to the jumper cap too, but that wasn't very robust. For now, the cable end is tied around the jumper cap extremity. There's enough tension to make the connection.
