Subject: Re: [PolySix] Tuning Issue--the opto is replaced

From: <mzaec@mail.ru>
Date: 2014-01-07

Hi everyone!

I've read this forum and I see that people have the same problem with PolySix as mine.

It turned out that the problem is not in opto.

What helped, solution:

Necessary to replace a resistor:

- R216 (30.1kOm)  pin 4 IC39 for NEW PRODUCTION

- R8 (or R9 ... poor quality serv manual )  pin 4 IC2 for OLD PRODUCTION

by 28-40kOm (find a suitable for your case).

Replacing this resistor shifts the overall "tune". This is what lacking in order to properly tune PolySix.

Because if you reach the correct overall "tune" At least one "voice", but for this you have to turn out VR1, VR15 in position close to the extreme ..... you just can not adjust tune scale in PolySix.

I hope it will help you, because it helped me and to those who said it to me (huge thanks to him!) If you're already tired tune PolySix, then I am sure that you will quickly learn what is written here and already well will know in which direction and how much you need to move the overall "tune" through replacement resistor R216.

I apologize for my imperfect English. I hope you understand what I wrote.
