One thing I particularly like is setting the resonance on
the VCFs so they are just about gurgling into
self-oscillation, but not quite....
....and setting the keyboard track so that is pitches the
self-oscillation about 3rd or 4th or 5th above the pitch of
the VCO (not a linear track up the keyboard)
.....then add slow ADSR env to the VCA ....
.....you get lovely glassy stringy sounds with the
resonance all strewn ambient on top.....
