Objet : [PolySix] Polysix vs Mono/Poly: Frequency Content

Hi All,

I own both a Mono/Poly and Polysix. I had the Mono/Poly first and, given
that the two synths are of the same vintage and share much of their circuit
design, I got the Polysix assuming that it would be a poly synth that
sounded very similar, which is what I wanted.

When i got the Polysix, I found certain small (but important!) differences
in sound. I've started to quantify the differences in the output of the two
synths. If you're interested in frequency analyses and whatnot, you might
choose to check out my figures and discussion...

I'm definitely interested in any comments that you might have. The boost in
treble frequencies relative to the ideal sawtooth is of particular interest
to me. Any theories?

Thanks,

Chip
