Hi there -

The short answer in no. You won't be able to do that.

The long answer is as Peter described. The trigger only means 'Trigger the next note'. The Polysix only allows you to select specific arpeggiator types: Up, Down, Up/Down (plus octave range). So yes, you can trigger the next note based on one of these three selction but you can't create a pattern of your own and trigger the next note based on that. You're hoping to create what's called an 'ordered' arpeggiator pattern. It's just not a feature on this synth.

The only way to do this is to add a Midi In mod to it. Once you have this you can trigger notes, custom arpeggiators, whatever you like. The pattern you create will come from an external source such a sequencer or another midi synth. I've done this to mine and it's a world of difference. For example, I run the crazy arpeggiators out of my EMU Audity 2000 to the Polysix and it's like nothing I've heard before from the Poly6.
