Subject: Warming up and tuning stability

Hello,
I recently got my P6 mostly working. I don't have a ton of experience with the P6 so I don't know exactly what to expect.
I have a lovely replacement KLM 367 board from the Old Crow, so there should be no issues with that part:)
I had the stretched octave tuning problem that is mentioned here often. I replaced the photocoupler with a Silonex NSL-32 and put in a 50k trimmer at R93. What I found was that it had no effect on the tuning until after warming up several minutes. I learned that the octave was still as stretched as before, but will now slowly return to normal as the P6 warms up. I was able to dial in R93 by holding an octave on the kb and trimming until it was in tune with itself. (forgot to measure it when tuned, but I don't think the suggested initial value of 39-41k worked)
I was expecting some drifting and out of tune-ness (like around a minute?) until the P6 was warmed up but this stretched octave on powering up business surprised me. Is this normal? I haven't timed it, but I would guess it takes 2-3 minutes to get in tune.
Once warmed up, it is now in decent tune with itself (needs some work tho) but it is about a half step out of tune with the rest of the world...
My second issue: If I leave the pitch bend wheel all the way down and then turn the bend intensity knob to 10, should the pitch change?? This seems very odd to me. Is this normal?
thx,
-Russ
