Hi folks.
Having fought and fought to get this p6 to work, i refuse to give up now!!!
I soldered new traces around the battery, change battery type. Soldered in
3 sockets and replaced the ic's soldered in new traces on the board left
board - YES! the acid had reached the underside of the other board so the
gain/att pot didnt work at all. I fixed stuck keys as well.. and now:
im having an issue with the p6 where 2 of the 6 voices wont tune properly -
i got the first osc to track fine over the whole keyboard/octave ranges,
but 2 of the voices cant be tuned properly - it is as if the low pot cant
go high enough - its at 10 but i want it to go to 11.
Right before the Low trimpot there is a resistor (22m). So my logic tells
me that i need to take add another resistor in the path to the pot to make
it go to "11". Im just thinking of buying various resistors and try them
out, but any idea in what range i should go? maybe a 100k?
thanks:)
