Subject: RE: [PolySix] Re: Modwheel VCO VCF VCA Issue

From: "backshall1" <backshall1@bellsouth.net>

The mod wheel is always connected to the VCO, and never to VCF or VCA,
unless someone had made other modifications to the KLM-367.

The LFO has two outputs labeled "A" and "J" on the circuit diagram (bottom
right corner). The "A" signal goes to CN06 pin 1 out to the mod wheel and
back in pin 2. From there it goes directly to the VCO MOD circuit on IC8.
The "J" signal is controlled by the VCO/VCF/VCA switch and sends the amount
selected by the Level control in the MG section to the correct destination.

This doesn't sound like the way you expected it to work, but that's how it
was designed. Changing the Mod Wheel should never affect the filter or amp.

Ok. after some searches, I'm pretty sure it comes from the KLM367. My P6 had
a battery leak then has been repaired before I have it.
I'd like to know where is produced the LFO signal. (what part of the
circuit). Then the idea would be to follow the signal and find the place
(crossroads) where it has to choose between VCO, VCA or VCF.
Anybody knows?

thanks,
