I'm not with my Polysix right now, but I'm pretty sure it shouldn't go
silent (the pulse becomes so thin it creates no harmonics) until you get to
the clock-wise end of the pot (i.e. 10). Have you calibrated your Polysix
since making the repair? Can you put the audio output of the square wave
(Pulse) on an oscilloscope and see if you're getting an actual ∗square∗ square
wave (i.e. 50% duty cycle) when the potentiometer is set all the way
counter-clockwise (i.e. set to 0)?
