Subject: Re: Polysix ARP Sync

This is unlikely to work...
DIN Sync sends a 24-pulses per 'quarter note' (crotchet), they're 5V TTL...

whereas the Polysix arpeggiator simply wants a pulse for each note in the arpeggio (and yeah, if I recall correctly, it's an S-trig pulse)

In other words, even with your V-trig to S-trig convertor, the DIN Sync clock pulses will probably be far too short in duration for the polysix to get a grip on.

A workaround might be to set the tempo in Logic to a suitable fraction of the real tempo - so for instance, if you want the polysix arpeggio to play 8th notes (quavers) at 120bpm (i.e. 2 notes per quarter note), set the tempo in Logic to 120 / 12 = 10 bpm (does it even go that slow? ;) ... even then, the duration of the DIN Sync pulses might be too short for the polysix's taste.

Your mileage may vary

DAVID.
