Subject: Re: Polysix ARP Sync

Hi there,
I've used a similar setup with 909 to trig chord through arp trig in, so should work okay.

Not sure if this helps, but for each note you'll need a corresponding trigger instrument hit (cowbell, clap or accent on 808 I think). This means if you want something that sounds like the internal one, you may need to use put a trigger hit running on every note (16ths) or every second note (8ths) to get the regular intervals happening.

This also mans that arp trigger is much more flexible than running the internal arp clock, as you can choose the sequence you want the arp notes to play rather than being stuck with regular intervals.

Of course, if you're doing this already and it's not playing a single note for each trigger hit, then something's probably not quite right, 'cause it seems to me your gear setup is okay.

Good luck
