Does anyone else have a problem with noisy outputs?

I'm aware of two remedies: the insulation mod for the fx board described by Johannes, or re-capping. I have a really noisy couple in my possession at the moment, and unfortunately interference with the fx board isn't the issue for me. One has been re-capped recently too, so I'm striking that off the list.

While I really love their sound, they're both practically unrecordable for anything pro without a really good gate, and even then…

Anyone had success reducing noise, or have ideas about how to reduce/eliminate it?
