Hi Mike,
A couple of points here. If this is the original transistor from the
original KLM-367 then the base and collector pins are in a different
position. So this will cause problems if you thread it straight through the
print as intended for the 2N3904! I am not in the US, but may be able to
help you. Drop me a private message if you like. The chord memory is
controlled by the MCU on the KLM-366, so beware of the fault persisting when
you fix the KLM-367.
