Why not opt for something a little nicer than plywood, like oak or cherry
wood? It's a pretty simple block design that you can easily trace the
outline and holes and measure the thickness you need. Not a lot of material
needed there. Then it's just a matter of using a band saw or even a tablesaw
and some sanding and then drill the holes (countersink the holes a bit so
the screws are not showing). Then it'll look pretty dope and last for years,
and increase the synths value.

PolySix@yahoogroups.comSubject: [PolySix] The case for a new case
Hi Polysixsters,
I was recently considering replacing the old chip board case on my favourite
Polysix as it is in a bit of a state, to say the least. Does any one have
any suggestions as to who might be able to furnish me with one of these?
Before you answer with a certain well know site stop! I have contacted them
twice using two different email accounts and never heard anything back.
Perhaps I smell. Maybe I'll get my Uncle Barry to knock me up something out
of plywood in his garage, then again, perhaps not..
Cheers,
Andy
