Subject: Re: [PolySix] Re: New Boards for Old?

Ah, but it is a team effort this one. What originally happened was a few
years back a chap calling himself the ŒOld Crow¹ came up with a replacement
design which was distributed to a few people. He then just vanished off the
face of the planet and took the Gerber files with him. These files are what
the PCB fabricators use to etch the boards). Personally I think he may have
been abducted by aliens, but if you are still on Earth we¹d love to hear
from you.

HyperJed or just Jed to his family and friends decided put forward a new
design, based on the old one, which had to be redrawn by the draughtsman
from scratch. I then worked on debugging the new board and getting a
finished product which actually works. No mean feat as there we some real
design Œhowlers¹ on the prototype. So now you know...

Cheers,
Andy
