My Polysix doesn´t work anymore too. Oldcrows told me that the HA17408 can be defective (many thanks for
your message!), í´ve changed him (and also the Battery and again the two 74LS08 , the problem is still the
same: The Knobs doesn´t work.
I don´t know how the Polysix works, but if i understand it correct, are the Varbiable Resistors on the
Knobs connected to A/D´s, then going to the Data cable and then on the KLM-367 back into the 17408 D/A.
But i don´t know if the Knob-Baord needs somewhat like a Clock-in or Data-in or if the 8048 plays somehow
a Role in this Circuit. If HE has a defect and block the Knob-Function then it is sure that it won´t work.
Can someone please tell me EXACTLY how the Knob-Circuit works?
