Subject: RE: [PolySix] Re: Update on new run of KLM-367 PCBs

I fixed up my damaged board and it's been fine. It does depend on how extensive the damage was I guess and it's very easy to overlook, or create 'new' problems that will show after some time. I'd re-check my repaird and rule that out as if you repaired it 100% once there's no reason it can't be again? (aside from failing components which are a seperate issue and would need checking even with a new board)

Count me in for a new KLM367 too! I just powered up my P6, having not

played it for a few months, and the rather extensive repair I did to the

KLM367 is failing already. I must have missed something, because the

lithium battery is completely drained, the preset sounds are gone, and

the preset LEDs are acting erratically again. It works fine in manual

mode, but any attempt to load the factory sounds causes the P6 to

crash. It was working 100% a few months ago.

I think new boards are the only long term solution.

Cheers

Frank
