Subject: Re: PolySix Amp Voltage?

Hi,

I tend to agree with CJP! The appegiator in the P6 is controlled by a
NE555 timer chip located on the KLM-371 board. Check the values of
capacitors C1, C2, C3 and C5 which deal with the timing. Also check
the setting of variable resistor VR1 as per the calibration section
of the service manual. I am of the opinion that the PSU is probably
outputting the right voltages as other weird things might be
happening too. The 555 timer runs off the +5V rail. So does most of
the TTL logic on the processor board (KLM-367)! There is a
calibration section in the service manual for the PSU. You'll need a
DVM though. If in doubt call in a qualified electronics tech to have
a look!

Cheers,
Andy
