Subject: Easy Polysix mods

To all,

Hi there. I have just completed some easy and very cool mods for my
Polysix. I am
by no means a master engineer, but the results are excellent
nevertheless. I have made two changes to the machine, 1) I have added a
direct output jack on the rear panel (replacing the VCF In) that carries
the signal from the voice board, bypassing the effects unit. This gives
a much cleaner output (with no effects) suitable for sampling, and is
perfect for my vocoder (which sounds better with a more "pure"
instrument source). And 2) I have modified the MG wheel so it now
controls the VCF and VCA, in addition to the normal VCO. Anyone who
wants more info on these simple mods, let me know. I can provide text
files and/or photographs. Or you might have some more mod ideas that
you want to share.
