Hello,
I recently got a poly 61 that had an issue with the battery leaking
and corroding the surround traces. I was able to re-trace, which I
found to be easy with a circuitwork conductive pen (for those who
happen to have this pen, I found that cutting a bit of the surrounding
tip and place a bit of 90 percent isopropyl alcohol made the pen flow
very well) So I reloaded the patches yet I was having an issue with
two of the voices sounding either low or a simple click. It turns out
the issue was the rainbow cable harness that connects the main board
to the voice board. Not only was it partly corroded, but when I tried
to replace the pin plugs in the connector, I tried to make non-stock
plugs work which left me with one voice that didn't sound because the
plug was not contacting with the board's pin header.
I had been messing with the pots and all along it was something so
easy to fix. However, now I am trying to find out what are the stock
plugs for the cable. I'd presume they are the same as the poly 6 with
the rectangular covers over the curved tip.
Thanks for your time and help!
