I had this exact same dilemma last night -
but careful examination will show you that only 4 of the pins on the
old opto component is connected to anything.

You'll see the new opto has a corner cut out to indicate where "pin 1"
is.
The old opto has a wee dot at the upper left to indicate its "pin1"

Korg's surviving PS6 schematics go horribly fuzzy at this point, but
if you shine a light through the board you'll see which pin trace
leads to R93 (pin 2, the +ve end of the LED), whilst pin1 goes to ground.
