Check the Crystal Quartz and also check the lines with a scope from the CPU ...

Ok..... Rebuilt the power supply. It now works, Changed the battery and
re traced most of the area. replaced the 74LS08 next to the battery but
still now sound. Finally got a scope and checked the Signal Out test
pin and I show noise riding on a crude sine wave and the sine wave is
weak and modulated by seems to be a clock. In other words the sine
jumps up and down the scope screen. When I hook the signal output to a
amp, I hear a consistant click sound. Changing some of the controls
seems to change the click pitch. Any Ideas what is wrong?
In addition I check test point TP4 whic is supposed to read =10v but I
read a few milliamps. I download the schematice from Old Crow but its
so hard to read. Any Ideas again
