Hello my newly founded Polysix fam,
My first P6 I resentfully flipped on ebay a few months back..It was
all banged up. Battery leakage, out of tune engine, saggy loose
keys...I picked it up on ebay in that condition-and at the time was
up for the challenge. I even midi'd it up to the mpc2k and laid some
tracks down with the interesting out of tune voices, I decided to
utilize the synth in the condition it was in for different creative
measures. The time came to step up front and sort the beast out.
Well, it sat for another 6 months...and eventually was placed back
on the market, and I resorted to the inferior predecessor poly61.
Alas, 2 weeks ago I came across another Poly6. Battery leakage
ofcourse, but I've replaced enough batteries within the interim, so
I'm no longer intimidated by the process........the task to overcome
with this unit is locating replacement side wood panels.
Analog outboard for life.
