Hi,
I've tried to upload some of your files from PC soundcard to P6: it
works fine.
Great patches - it's worth doing some work!
I had no time to try the opposite way so far, maybe at the weekend.
Some ideas in-between:
- You want to load the waves in the P6-editor. Did you try to record
directly from your synth instead of the wave file?
- did you try the Hi and Lo switch at the Tape Input?
- did you disable any effekt, dolby surround, filter, on your PC
soundcard?
- did you check if any sound is correctly overwritten with new data,
althought the Cancel Led lights up?
- did you try both:
send from editor to Polysix directly (using the play button)
save as wave file and play this with any mediaplayer
I could force my P6 to show the same behaviour (all 8 LEDs light up, and
also the error LED) by reducing the output volume of the signal on the
PC soundcard
Good luck!
Olaf

PolySix@yahoogroups.comBetreff: [PolySix] problems importing / exporting patch dumps into Patch
Manager P6 format
I have eight or so different patch dumps in WAV format that i'm trying
to load into the Patch Manager program. I can load them just fine as
WAV files out of my computer and into the Polysix itself, but I can't
get them into the Patch Manager program and out of the Patch Manager
program into the Polsix.
The reason I want to do this is to combine a few of my favorite
patches from different dumps and make a whoopass master bank of em,
using the Patch Manager program. But when I load the WAV files into
the program and play them out into the Polysix, it lights up Found
and Loading, then all eight programs light up but the Error light
comes on at the end every time.
One other thing - I used Adobe Audition to try to convert these to
11025/8-bit/mono, I even tried trimming them so that they are exactly
70k like it says in the docs for the program. Any ideas? THANKS IN
ADVANCE!
