Ben, you might want to try Mark Vail, who wrote the book BEAUTY IN THE B and
VINTAGE SYNTHESIZERS.
I had an email addr but not sure where it is right now.
If I can find it I can forward your request to him.

Subject: [oldsynths] wurlitzer side man

Hi all
New member here. Ben from Australia.
I have a Wurlitzer side man I'm trying to restore. Does anyone know of
or have a circuit or other info on these. Ive emailed Wurlitzer USA but
as yet no response. I have found very little info on these so far.
What I have found is they were made from 1959 to 65 and a lot of
musicians got upset when they were released.
The other problem I have is the brass overlay for the various switches &
buttons is corroded and the paint is peeling off. Anyone know of a
company that may be able to clean it up and repaint it? The lettering is
raised and exposed brass. The rest is painted a brown colour.
Mine has been converted to 240 volt use by a transformer inside. I dont
suppose anyone knows if that's a factory job or done by the Wurlitzer
importers here??

cheers
ben
