Clay,
Congratulations (I think...)! PAiA synths can be tempermental little beasties but it's how I got started with synths in the 70's and still own quite a few PAiA synths.

You are correct that the audio cables are 1/8". You'll have better luck with noise if one end of the shield is not connected on your patch cords when you patch to modules within the system. Do use shielded cables for connecting to amps, mixers or other outboard equipment. The CV jacks use pin plugs which you can get from Mouser Electronics.

Good luck and keep a hot soldering iron ready at all times & a small screw driver close by for calibrating those VCO's!
