Hwy Rory, Well, i finaly got the Gnome VCA working.
the emitter resistor in current control tranie was made larger.
created the offset needed to get the output buffer tranie working.
Before that, the A/D in the VCA would not decay--kinda did a sample-
and-hold, and, if the attack knob was rotated clockwise, the voltage
went up until it "triggered" then went to zero.
Know what it was?
feedback resistor. too much current feedback(remember it's a norton
op amp). Solution: next size larger feedback R--from 470K to 560K.
Got it.....boy, that took a while too!!
Now on to the VCF. the signal is so miniscuile, something like
50mv coming off the terminal strip. It's working correctly, but,
it's ugly....
thinkin bout rearanging a few parts...
will let U all know what happens.
will probably post to the PAIAsynth list...so tune in there.
may the Gnomes B with U.
