Subject: Re: [oldsynth] Joystick vendor?

Greetings;

Allow me to suggest this, I have not tried yet but
have been inspecting these things very closely and I
suspect they have good potential. Try to locate a
discarded/used or perhaps a new game controller for
the sony psone or a derivative (read clone) unit thas
claims to have "ANALOG" function on it. Some other
desktop game units do have similar assemblies on their
controllers ∗∗ but ∗∗ some also have a set of four
switches around the they're called "digital"
joysticks- avoid those.

I built mine from an old computer joystick that was
indeed a true potentiometer based joystick. So there's
another source of joystick assemblies...

Hope that helps.
