Subject: FS:Yamaha DX7 w/ E!

I just had a fixing spree this and last weekend finally of some things that
have been setting around a long time. I should offer them here before I go
to the ebay overhead route. E! upgraded DX-7's seem a bit rare these days
even on ebay. I have two of them here, one real nice and one that got beat
up a bit. I pounded out the dent around the jacks to functionality and
repaired the cracked plastic right side. It's actually not noticable until
you start looking close and is quite functional. And I'm not picky. (It's
a good showpiece item for people who want thrashed things like that fixed I
guess :-) ) I figure on keeping one of them. If interested let me know and
we'll figure what price they should be.
The DSS-1 will be going as soon as I get the rack up and working. This
is such a great sounding synth. You have to wait a minute every time you
want to load a new bank of patches is the only real downside. It has some
of the nicest analog filters out there with 8 voices and dual digital delay
with some flexible possibilities. Awesome punchy sounds. This has to be
the best bang for buck synth on the market. This one has been recently
rebuilt using two synths. The case would be great had it not been for some
abrasions that need to be worked down/refinished somehow on the right above
the power switch to make it look good. But sonically it's awesome as a
studio machine. They're big and the slow loading thing makes them pretty
useless for gigging I guess. Unless it's a big gig and you just want to use
it for a particular bank of sounds maybe or have time to swap disks :).
VSE says 600 I think on this synth but they never sell near that high.
Again let me know if interested. -Bob
