  Also, Satie's music is perfect for the atmosphere of the mellotron flute (McDonald or MK2, maybe even bass flute).

That's perfectly okay.

However, I fail to see how anyone can fail to be entranced by Satie, and even more puzzled why anyone can be antipathetic to it. I find it perhaps the most mesmerising music I have ever heard.
