Hello,

A little off topic, but Mike Dickson's mellotron/viola sounds justwonderful! Does anyone know what kind of reverb unit Mike uses for histron?

Thanks,

Mark

I use a variety. If I am recording to the mixer then I play it throughan Alesis MIDIverb II. It's a low end, low budget job, but it has apleasant quallity to it that I don't hear in many other digitalreverbs. It also comes with a gorgeous 'bloom'...a sort of reverbedreverse reverb. Good with flutes.

I've also played it through the spring reverb in my Hammond and the veryspringy reverb in my keyboard amp.

I also use a variety software reverbs, notably the Timeworks and WavesDirectX jobs. It all depends on what I'm looking for - they all havetheir own characteristics.

The CLR viola demo was all Alesis on a fairly low 'room' setting on a25% dry mix.
