Agreed!Imagery of hoping to run across some old lady having this strange looking dual manual tape organ in living room sounds all too familiar : )

All those 250 MKII's accounted for btw,or could one us get lucky one fine day?

Cheers,Hessel #920

I remember several years ago there were similar posts here by folks
wondering who paid $2900 for M400 #379 on eBay, also unrestored.
Well, that would be me, and I recall feeling a mixture of relief that
I finally owned one, and concern that people seemed to think I'd
grossly overpaid to get it.

If the new owner is here, then you have my heartfelt congratulations.
Don't look back.

The truth is that for most of us, the days of waiting until you happen
to come across one in a dusty basement where the owner has no idea
what the silly thing is are over. If they ever existed, eBay put a
stop to that. I waited ∗years∗. When the opportunity finally arose,
I did what I had to do and I'm totally satisfied with the decision.
