Absolutely. Imagine hearing it for the first time as a 14 year old kid sitting in the rain and mud on a friday night at the West Palm Beach Rock Festival hearing it performed live by Giles, Fripp, McDonald, and Lake. I will never forget that.

odd experience tonight. ipod shuffle decided to play me 21st century schizoid man and although i have heard it hundreds of times, i was suddenly 15 again and hearing it for the first time. although the beatles had released sgt pepper, it was still something fresh and interesting and unlike anything i had heard before. probably king crimson's finest hour before fripp dominated. michael giles was their best drummer, and oddly enough no tron.
