Inspired by Mike's post and the BJH video I have have been spending a very happy evening messing about with #1565, who is having one of her good days. Several questions have occured to me:
1) Exactly how bad is holding down a key after the end of the tape? I don't feel anything back from the key, if a lot of keys are held down I am not alway sure which tapes might have reached the end.
2) How do you play these things?? I am only interested in the strings, resolving suspended chords seem to sound quite nice.
3) I am hoping to get a further tape set next year if the kiwi dollar is still worth anything, it will include the M300a and Mark II strings, I would like a third string sound on it, I have thought possibly cello in the middle, any other ideas?
4) I am having piano lessons and I am not sure if this is helpful as far as the tron is concerned, I know Woolly was self taught as far as keyboards were concerned and I think Mike Pinder may have been as well. One of my goals now is to play baroque music on the piano, I did orginally think of transcribing some of the Corelli concerto grossi for for tron but I don't think that that will work. I am wondering about trying to get some additional keyboard lessons, any advice as to what type might be useful.
Thanks
Mark
